The CRS AGM 2018

On September 26th, CRS held its 2018 Annual General Meeting at the Christchurch Netball Centre. As with many organisations an AGM is a great time to look back at our achievements over the previous 12 months and look forward to exciting new opportunities. This is no different for CRS. Every member of the CRS team has an opportunity to share stories and what the previous year has meant to them through both the Annual Report and the AGM.

Sally Pitama, Ngai Tahu provided the Mihi Whakatau and spoke about lineage, culture and continuing to offer a warm welcome to migrants and refugees when they arrive in this city. The AGM and proceedings were hosted by Board Chair Martin Maguire who presented the Chairperson’s Report. This was followed by David Atkinson presenting the Finance Report. Shirley Wright CRS General Manager took the audience through the CRS service areas highlighting some exceptional figures in terms of clients supported and then the stories of those clients as presented by the CRS team.

Huge congratulations to everyone who made this event a success and we welcome you now to see the amazing work that went into the last financial year by downloading a copy of the 2017/2018 Annual Report.
