The CRS Under 5’s Expo 2017

There was an amazing turnout for the CRS Under 5’s Expo at the fantastic Aranui Wainoni Community Centre in June. This annual event gives families from refugee and migrant backgrounds the opportunity to participate in activities to help with parenting, to gain practical skills and gather information about services available to help them and their children. With a number of CRS events, interpreters were on hand to help attendees understand the information they received, and a delicious hot lunch was served also. Event organiser Jo Fasheun said ” Huge thanks to everyone who turned out for this invaluable day of training, community and inclusion, especially our partner agencies for their ongoing support ”
