Ji Yun – Family Harm Practitioner

Ji Yun started working for CRS in 2022 as a Family Harm Practitioner. She kept in touch with the agency and many of the staff over the years since her three-month social work placement at CRS in 2015.

Ji Yun says she loves the multicultural colleagues and the working environment, particularly compared to other workplaces. She says, “It is really important for refugee and migrant people to have a service that understands their diverse needs, so they can be supported to be in control of their own lives, and integrated into the community.”

She is especially appreciative of the reality of lived experience of resettling from our clients and staff, and reflects on their stories in her practice. In regards to reaching 30 years, Ji Yun says, “Happy anniversary, CRS – you have done a great job, and it is a unique service. 30 years is a long time to be involved in supporting people well!”
