CRS 30th Anniversary Stories

Christchurch Resettlement Services (CRS) is a non-profit charitable organisation that assists in the resettlement of refugee- and migrant-background clients in the Christchurch community. Providing a wide variety of support programmes to members of over 69 ethnic groups, including mental health support, physical wellbeing and social support, CRS is celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2022. The organisation has continued to thrive despite earthquakes, Covid-19 and a multitude of challenges facing both staff and clients. University of Canterbury student Madeleine Howard has had the pleasure of interviewing 30 staff and clients and compiling a collection of their stories, in celebration of 30 years of the organisation and the amazing work that they do.
