Bilingual Community Work

Providing cultural, linguistic and community based support to clients from refugee backgrounds and staff across all areas of service delivery.

Social Work

A social work response for resettlement issues, psychosocial support around earthquake impacts, mental health, family centered / family violence & support for vulnerable children.

Health Promotion

Improving social inclusion, well-being and positive health practices for people from refugee & migrant backgrounds.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Counselling

Providing counselling for people from CALD backgrounds, either in the mother tongue, or through an interpreter.

Bilingual Tutor and Childcare Support at Living Well in Christchurch

In partnership with English Language Partners, CRS provides a bilingual tutor and childcare support for the pre-school children of the learners attending the programme.

Community Connection Service

Providing community connection support for people either navigating earthquake repairs and accommodation needs, or to vulnerable children with the Canterbury Children’s Team..

Interpreters are also contracted on an as-needed basis for the cultural and linguistic needs not provided for by the Bilingual Community Workers.
